Father’s Day is just around the corner and we have been inspired to share a few creative ways to honor dad on your special day. A father-daughter dance is a great way to tell dad you love him but definitely not the only way.
1. What does dad do best? Is he a great dancer, musician or artist? Invite him to show off what he does best your wedding by having a fun father-daughter dance, perform a son or show off a master piece. Whatever he does best try to highlight that so he can feel extra special. It’s not everyday he has to give away his daughter to another man, he will certainly appreciate the extra attention.
2. Make something special for him to wear. Are you a DIY Queen? Make him a special boutonniere to wear on the special day. It will help to incorporate a special detail that will represent how special your father-daughter relationship is. It will be something he can cherish forever.
3. Incorporate some of his favorites into your playlist. Remember those tunes he used to dance with your mom or with you while you stood on his feet? Play some of those great songs to get him dancing and having fun with everyone. He will appreciate you took the time to incorporate some of the songs he loves most to make sure he and everyone have a good time.
